Set in the former building of the Main Judaic Library (1928-36), the Jewish Historical Institute Museum (Muzeum Zydowskiego Instytutu Historycznego) focuses on the
history of the material and spiritual culture of Polish Jews. The permanent exposition
includes an art gallery and a section on the Holocaust of Polish Jews during WWII.
