The Royal Lazienki (Lazienki Krolewskie) is one of the most beautiful park
and palace complexes in Europe. Spanning 183 acres, the park includes the royal summer
residence, several pavilions and the classicist Palace on the Water by Dominik Merlini.
The park also includes the Theatre on the Island, modeled after the antique theatre of
Herculaneum, and the Orangery with a court theatre. A great place for an afternoon stroll.
